Title: Help,
Post by: bighed on 05 May 2008, 11:34:31
Have just dropped my keyboard and when I looked back up my toolbar from top of page has vanished. Tried rebooting and the toolbar comes back till you get onto the site then goes again. What keys have been pressed for this to happen  :-/

I generally find that after trying to do something on the PC that wont work, that if you give it a good kicking around the room it helps, doesn't do the PC any good but you will feel much better ;D

I did this earlier when washing my Mig, only to a bucket. It was my fault, because i was stepping over a mangled knot in the hose & was not looking where i was putting my right foot & stepped in the full bucket of water, so i booted the bucket across the drive & broke it  ;D ;D
Permission to laugh at me granted also  :y

I find smashing a problematic DLT drive into the lawn with Sammy helped an awful lot ::)

strangely, i never feel the urge to visit pain and destruction on my computer.

the video recorder however... is another matter.

Thats the problem with old crappy computers like yours that take DDR - memory is expensive.  I'd expect 1G for £15
