I have never bought Halfords tools but they do same to be rated by many on here..... :y :y  Iirc there is a bigger set that retails at £200 but is often for sale for much less that would represent better value, I am sure someone who knows more will be along to further inform you..... :y

The 150 piece set is much better - pretty much ideal for working on an Omega, in fact. It's often on offer at £99, and better value. :y

I'd say bide your time until that's on offer, personally. Don't be daft and pay full price for it (£200 IIRC) :o.

This is the one most go for. £30 more but better value perhaps.

I have one, add a couple of adaptors and 17 and 18mm long reach hardened sockets it does almost everything you could ask of sockets and spanners on an omega. :y

Same tools though, so equal quality. :)

Can only recommend these tools from h'fods , bought mine a year ago and very handy especially the deep sockets . Bought some ratchet spanners at the same time but still in the packet unused  ;D

Be aware that the current 150pc set no longer includes an 18mm spanner, which is a bit annoying.

Fortunately I have enough older 150pc sets to keep me going ;D

They were Knocking the 150 piece out for £89 at my local store last Monday, might be worth a few phone calls to your local stores and see what the current price is.  ;)

IIRC, halfords profesional range is lifetime guarenteed. they upped the quality a few years ago and is good stuff nowdays.

Yup, but you MUST keep the receipt. Rachets technically aren't covered.

Its been called Advanced, not Professional, for a couple of years

ive had my set for 8yrs now and still going strong bar the few sockets that drop into non accesible parts of cars, and it the 150 piece one, just needs a strap around the case as the catches snapped off over time through use

...and it doesn't include a 9mm wrench needed for the bleed nipples  ::)

Yep, confirmed. :( I wish they'd just up the price by a couple of quid rather than omitting essential items. Nothing worse than an incomplete set of spanners. >:(

150 piece no longer available. :(

Interesting reviews on the case, and the design change on deep sockets. I'm on my second case.

...well, its not that interesting, being honest. ;D
