Title: car tax refund

i want to get a refund on my astras tax as its off the road and not insured. the last time i did it on the omega it took them 3 months to action it. am i best to go online and sorn it and then send the tax back.

Took about 2 weeks by post last time I did it then the dog eat the cheque, another 2 weeks for them to replace it  :-[
