Title: Leaky Smart
Post by: Andy B on 06 February 2013, 20:53:24
This is the interior triangular trim at the top of a Smart Roadster door where the mirror sits. Water is getting passed where this seal used to seal between the trim & the door panel.
You can see that the seal is a foam/sponge affair that was presumably injected from some kind of mastic gun. Does anyone know of something similar? Unless anyone does, I think the easiest thing will be to just silicone the two bits together,

Thanks. I think I'll go along that route rather than trying to use any of the sticky backed closed cell foam strip. I have some, but I'm not sure it's pliable/squidgy enough.  :-\  :y :y
