Probably a question best asked here ..... http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/
I'm not trying to be a clever bugger, but after the short time of owning a Merc, I've discovered that there are some weird & wonderful ways of making you return to a dealer or at best a good independent. eg the indicator flashers on her Smart are controlled via a relay built into the SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) which is also where the main ECU lives ..... My R Class has two of the buggers. And ISTR that someone on the MB forum asked about lack of flashers on his A/B/C/S/?/whatever Class and it was part of some mega expensive box of MB electrickery.
But as you say it could just be a fuse ;D

thanks , the guy that owns it rang me to ask if I knew. a common fault with sprinters I,m led to believe. one thing I did read was blown fuses & relays could be caused by the bolts that fix the fuse box housing being too tight. slacken them off a bit & problem may cease. the logic of it wasn,t explained :-\
