"The Daily Telegraph launches a campaign today called Fair Deal for Drivers. It is supported by MPs, charities and motoring groups and calls on the Prime Minister to offer motorists a better deal.
Figures compiled by the AA show that the average motorist pays more than £1,800 annually in fuel duty, car tax, VAT on petrol and other levies – an increase of more than 50 per cent in little more than a decade." >:(

I suspect that a newspaper campaign may have a better chance of success than petitions. Well, we can hope, anyway.
