indeed if it was that snowy should have been going a lot slower!

Not a lot in that for breaking, its a write off too. Can't see that going for much more than scrap  :-\

I've got a mate who manages a local scrapyard and he often buys "write offs", many a lot worse than this Omega (seen one with front wheel on drivers seat, and a Cooper S Turbo with the back section crushed to about 6"), which he repairs properly, puts them through VIC testing and subsequent MOT testing, and uses them himself for about 6 months before selling on.  Seems a very profitable operation (scrapyard connections help), but takes a lot of work, effort and skill.

As EMD hints this Omega could easily be repaired properly, although at a cost that is going to be prohibitive.  Newer, more valuable written off cars can often be fully repaired cost effectively.

To be fair, a tub of Isopon, bottle of T-Cut and some elbow grease and it'll be as good as new ;) :D ::)

Have repaired similar amounts of damage on mine, although not both ends at once ::)

If it were free, and I had the space and inclination I would consider it as a project :-\ The rear screen is intact, which is a good sign, the rest is just panel replacement  :y

Worked really well on the Mother in Law's Octavia 4x4 right down to about 2mm and a Passatt 4motion that was in the family. ISTR TB liked them on the Rover (RIP) too. They just don't seem to suit big RWD motors ::)
