Check the codes, could be a crank sensor issue. :y

Wouldn't have thought the breathers would stop it running, when my sensor went car would run fine until stopped at a junction or similar and would then cut out and may take 10-20 minutes before it would restart

crank sensor doesnt always throw a fault code, can be intermitant also. would be code 19. :)

Although my failing crank sensor showed a code, your non starting issue from warm and being able to start from cold are same symptoms my 2.6 had.
Genuine crank sensor cured it.

+1 crank sensor.. be careful for replacement model..

Had the same last week, crank sensor replaced done 500 miles since.....running as it should :y :y

Really need to check codes mate.
However classic signs of failing crank sensor ;) Only fit genuine GM replacement ;)
