What Lizzie said, she knows what she did and now has to live with it

IMHO the police and judiciary always seem to look after their own. >:( >:( >:( >:(
There is absolutely no chance of a prosecution where the victim was a motorcyclist. You only have to look at the difference in fines and other sentences to see that. A few years a go an MP was convicted of speeding at 135mph, crashing into another car killing the occupant. All he got was a fine and a suspended sentence. In another case a motorcyclist caught doing 135mph on a quiet motorway was jailed for six months. Go figure, there isn't a level playing field when it come to motorists and motorcyclists. >:( >:( >:( >:(
And unfortunately you end up with no justice for the family and friends of the victim in such circumstances. >:( >:( >:( >:(

Yet another example of the 'Can't Prosecute Service' at work! >:(

I'm guessing (:)) that the CPS, probably rightly, have decided that proving there is a difference in her using her phone, on loudspeaker, against using a "hands free" kit, which is completely legal, would be almost impossible.
She has lied and made herself look guilty, but looking and proving are very different things.

The CPS report states: 'Two drivers who were the closest to the collision stated that when Ms Carpenter pulled out her manoeuvre was safe and did not inconvenience them.'
'Did not 'inconvenience' them' ? Strange terminology to use in an incident that resulted in a fatality.
So they were 'the closest' to the collision ? Obviously not as close as David Bartholomew ! >:(

Surely the fact that she pulled out in front of a motorcycle from a minor road means there is a case to answer for driving with undue care and attention.

Yeah, regardless of the rights and wrongs of what she actually did, turning up to a court to answer for a death that you've caused ought to be a rather more sombre occasion than her face suggests, surely? >:(
Had I taken that photo I'd be reminding her of the face that ended up embedded in the side of her car. >:(

Unfortunately, I don't see how she could lose her job. And she definitely doesn't look like the shy type who would go quietly. Big, hairy arsed dyke.
