In green as well, which I think must be rare. Now I could be tempted by that!! :-* :-* :-* :-*
.........and just at 54,800 miles on the clock.
Where's that £1300 when you need it! ::) ::) :P

Vectra is hideous imo.The Senator is lovely. In the colour I always wanted one.Would need to change the dash for digital though.
If I could in anyway justify owning it I would be very very tempted to buy that. In fact,if he would swap it for my Omega,I probably would. :)

Yes, they were fitted to the last of the Senators I believe due to complaints about the digital version that I really loved. ;)
Interesting though my friend has just picked up a new Renault 7 seater and that has a digital dash. Vauxhalls were certainly well ahead on that one! :y :y

1.8 in that vectra :(

1.8 in that vectra :(

Oh i see ;D ;) Not my cup of tea , i preferred my vectra B 2.5 :y

Sorry Vectra too chavy - airbrushed skulls on the engine and picnic table on the boot ;D ;D ;D

But shockingly poor on fuel :o
SWMBO had a 1.8 as a company car (one of the very first Vectra C's) and I had a 53 plate 2.0 Diesel. Hers would struggle to make more than 300 miles to a tank when I could get nearer 600 driving the same way, or probably harder actually ::)
-
The fun thing with mine though was that it was one of the only FWD cars I've ever driven that would oversteer! ;D
-
Hmm BABE magnet ;D ;D ;D

I'll give you that :y though the gearing is different through the range. 'Our' three, all 1.8 5 speed manual...
1. '55 120bhp Design saloon manages about 36mpg overall.
2. '55 120bhp Exclusive estate averages 31mpg.
3. '58 140bhp Life hatch averages 32mpg.
1. is doing 2500rpm at 70mph, 2 and 3 are much nearer 3000 :-\ 3 is only more economical than 2 because it's lighter :-\

That must have been designed in :-\ entertaining though :y once you're aware of it ::)

Not really... Oversteer in a FWD can be quite lairy! ::)
To be fair, it didn't exactly have top notch tyres on though :-[

The saloon drifted quite nicely on Bridgestones ::) but the estate is a handful when it goes due to the extra length and weight. Fit black/round tyres and you need to be quite careful on greasy roundabouts :-X

Indeed... I had a hatch and the tyres were mid range. Was interesting when pressing on :-X As you know there are quite a few roundabouts around me ::)

I have to say that my Signum feels pretty well planted on the road, although based on Vectra estate but without the rear overhang probably helps it a bit :y
-
A combination of a shorter tail and a bloody great v6 at the front :y Probably quite balanced compared to the Vectra ::)
