Title: how did she do that!! in our mig!!!

 Well Dee came out to chat while I change a sensor on miggy--She went and spilt her coffee all over the carpet on rear drivers side-How the heck do I clean it-got a Vac but what do I use--please be serious people-Dee well upset-she even cried a bit-told her not to worry-but its our baby-if you know what i mean  :y

First off....you don't clean it, she does. There are loads of carpet shampoos that should shift it. I wouldn't use the foam, spray on type, they don't seem to work very well.

No-Dee said she will wash car mate-I got a better deal there-will take pickys to show how it goes :y

Try and keep it a bit damp until you clean it, don't let it dry in.

she put tissues over it all and lifted lots out but told her leave it till tomorrow- :y

 Dilute coffee spills immediately with cool water and blot with paper towels or clean rags. If a stain remains after the spot dries, spray on a glass cleaner (yes, a glass cleaner!). Soak the area, allow to sit for five minutes, and blot.

Thats what i read on the web , not tried it but mite be worth a go on a test patch  :-\

If washing machine powder/ liquid, or Vanish or somesuch, will get coffee out of clothes*, put some in a spray bottle, diluted down, and try that. :y

*I, being the hairy-arsed one of the household, have no idea if it will or not.
