I really hope that I'm not tempting fate by posting this.....but my 53 plate MV6 is in that sweet spot. You know what I mean. That sweet spot where she starts first time, runs, handles and brakes perfectly.
That sweet spot where nasty knocks and rattles don't exist. That sweet spot where the auto box slurs creamily from one gear to the next and dashboard warning lights are not allowed.
That sweet spot where she's more attractive than Keira Knightley dipped in warm chocolate. ;) :-* :-*
I paid £1300 exactly two years ago, which means I'd have to buy a 55 plate for the same money today. Not easy, I reckon a decent Jag, Audi, or BMW of that vintage would come in at nearer £5,000.
Like I say, she's in that sweet spot. :y :y :y :y :y

And long may she stay there :y

Just park it up and leave it, other wise it will break and you will be sad. ;D

Good news indeed Opti :y
I've been using a 224,000 mile 3.2 Elite and it's probably one of the best Omegas i've driven ::)

Mine is a mere whippersnapper Pete. Even now she has only 82,000 miles under her wheels. :y

I bought my Elite 10 yrs ago, it now has 179k on clock. I actually managed to prise it from SWMBO's grasp and use it for work today. (I had to get her Smart reasonably dry first ::)) It also starts, runs, handle(ish) & brakes perfectly too.
I really can't can't remember what I paid for it ..... £6k springs to mind. It performed fantastically well on the 2 mile stretch of motorway I use ....... 90/100 secs perhaps! :y :y
