Title: Heating Problem
Post by: weecuparoffife on 26 February 2013, 14:35:44
I have a heating problem with my 2002 2.2 CD. I get cold air in front and hot air in the back. Not sure what the problem is - have flushed matrix. Help please!

Try resetting climate - auto and off hold in together for 5 secs plus - should hear climate motors resetting

If you have heat at the back, but not at the front, its a distribution problem, not a matrix problem IMHO.

Blend flaps do either side .. not sure what controls front/back ... :(

I was under the impression that the rear vents got whatever temp the driver got, but that could be completely wrong.

Another query has suggested the following although I'm not sure how easy this is to do.

'Check operating rod to the front blend flaps have not become detatched from the servo'
