Title: DTi Inlet manifold
Post by: Elite Pete on 26 February 2013, 18:21:31
This is what you'll probably find when you remove the inlet manifold or your DTi, it takes some cleaning but it's well worth it ;)

I've got another set already cleaned and ready to fit. Cleaning them up is the worst part of the job :'(

done a few of them now, used a copper or alloy blade to remove bad bits and then carb cleaner and non dealer gaskets worked fine and engine runs a lot better. :y also check the rubber elbows at the back of the engine as the get hot back there and let air into vac system

Yeah, there are 2 metal ones which IIRC they cost less than £5 from the dealers ;)
