Well now the Omega's gone just picked this up yesterday, Skoda Superb Elegance.

Beautiful car only done 21k elderly gent had it + Skoda demonstrator. Electric everything, stacks of service bills & really looked after.Couple of scuffs on the alloys, however that'll give me something to do in the spring. Well chuffed with it especially 40+ mpg on the motorway. Its had a really easy life & only 700 miles from its last MOT to its new one.

It's probably a good thing. If people realised how good they were they would be more expensive, just like the Omega ;)

I'm in a bit of a quandary at the minute, and uming & arrring about what to do  :-\ :-\ :-\
It had a cambelt & tensioner change in 2009 at 14802 miles and is due another one soon some 6000 miles later. The service book states that it should be done at 4 yrs or 40k. for the sake of spending a couple of hundred £££ on it I'm inclined to change it for piece of mind as I know a snapped belt is curtains, but its only done 6k since the last one BUT 4 years  :-\ :-\ :-\

Now that takes me back a few years................

What do you call a Skoda with a sunroof?......................

Why does a Skoda have a heated rear window?....................

No offence to OP, they have changed a lot, love the colour by the way...... :y :y

That seems good value for a dealer. Belt kit is two belts and four idlers with hydraulic tensioner(bdg)
