Title: Help SPI

I'd like to service my single point injection .. pic

Where do i start and what bits need to be taken off and cleaned  :-\ Pug 106 1.1 .

Any advice appreciated  ;)

If it aint broke don't fix it :P,just use carb cleaner on what you can see :y

Thats what i thought henry to just use carb cleaner but sure M'DTM said that wont clean what needs to be cleaned  :-\ This picture isnt mine , i need to take mine off . So when its off just soak it in carb cleaner  :y

I'd just attack what you can see on the butterfly with carb cleaner & an old tooth brush

Yes i think he mentioned that just spraying it wont clean the internals  :-\

I'd just attack what you can see on the butterfly with carb cleaner & an old tooth brush

I think thats the only way i can see how to do it andy , knowing my luck if i take it to bits some springs or something will fly out and never get them back in  :(

Ill take the blighter off anyway and see what i can clean with swmbo's toothbrush  ::) I noted it was a bit gummed up the last time the top was off , will check the vacuum pipes as well  :)

I was actualy referring to the fact that redex would not clean it.  :y

Clean both sides of the throttle butterfly and throttle body throat with carb cleaner, also do all the breather ports and the upped throttle body face.
