Not as standard no, only Elite spec came with Self Levelling.

Worth checking rear springs to see if they have broken, also check the shocks for any fluid loss  :y

But it may have been specified as an option when new ;)

Check shocks for little air lines or under the front wing, behind the bumper for a pump. I would have thought you'd have known and heard the pump before now if you had it though ;)

More likely, as suggested, broken springs or leaking shocks

Sounds like rear shock failure to me. No damping at all.

I think this is what has happened to my 02 Elite Estate.

Mine feels like it bottoms out extreemly easily, and I am 99.9% sure it doesnt raise, nor can I hear the pump whirring away under the wing :-(

Ride height is dictated by springs. Dampers control the spring movement.

Elites cross over thar basic rule with self levelling, as air bladders on the shocks also support the springs which on elites are exceptionally soft without self levelling bladders supporting the springs it will drag its arse badly.

Elites/self levelling springs also brake quite easy though, so it could be a combination of both.

There is a guide on maintenance for checking self levelling. Makes checking springs easier too, if the car does rise as it should :)
