Title: Manchester Utd v Real Madrid
Post by: feeutfo on 05 March 2013, 18:11:16
....tonight on itv 7pm in hd. See, itv does have a use. ::)

Should be a cracking game. 3-2 to Utd I reckon. :-\

I'm torn.

I really want the British based team to win...  ...but its Man U.

Man U have the upper hand with an away goal, but I'm certain Real will score. I reckon it will be a tight game.

Hopefully, it won't be an anti climax like some hyped games :)

Football first, then the club.

I just hope its a good game. Which its bound to be. The hype hasn't been ott, which usually kills it. :)

Indeed, I just hope for a fair game, played in the spirit it should be, and a spectator spectical :y

Although, if make-up-boy Ronaldo got a red card, that would be payback...

I'm not whining. It's precisely because I'm a scouser that I know how to read a game, and VP is not playing well. If it stays like this till half time, I'll ring Alex and tell him to get Monkeyman on.

I disappeared out of the room, so missed it.  But its funny when Uncle Alex doesn't have control over the officials ;D

What goes around comes around, RM's goal in the first half was a dubious decision ;)

Good goal. Hell of a shot.
Makes a good finale - both teams now have an away goal, so its a fight to the end. Whilst the Utd fans will be nervy, it makes for great spectator action :y

You shouldn't have a Turkish referee for a game like that. Not only are they amateurs but they can be bought.

Two of the best teams in the world... and all that will be talked about is the ref ... something not right there .. :(

I thought United played with spirit and intensity after going a man down .. but really had little chance 10 v 11 when the 11 were RM .. :(

Ferguson is the most successful UK club manager ever. Part of this success is making it quite clear that no footballer with their big egos are bigger than the team or the club and quite rightly so.

TBH when you look at how Ronaldo has improved and matured, in comparison with Rooney who is overweight and gone backwards, is he worth £250k a week?

IMHO he needs to stop his wife talking a good game and he should start playing one. Lose weight, get fitter, improve his on the ball touch, passing and shooting, so he earns his keep.

I hope that UEFA throw the book at Ferguson for skipping the after match interview!  :)  Not just a fine either, he should be made to sit in the stands for at least 5 European matches next season!!  ::)
