Superb guitarist and entertainer who'm I've listened to for 45 years.

There are very very few artists I would bother leaving the house to watch these days,but theres a list of them there that I would really like to have seen,and a few I have already seen. :)

Yup. I used to go to this every year until life got serious and I had to start working for a living >:(
Stopped in about '70 when I moved to London, then started doing festivals again in around 2003 when my kids were old enough to go with me :y :y Now they go without me :'( :'(

I used to go to see just about everyone who would come to Belfast in the 70,s,but (not including the Olympics closing ceremony) I have only been to about 5 gigs in the last 25 years.

Aye he unexpectedly died on 6 March following complications during routine surgery.
you never know when your time is up .
Really sad :( But at least his memory lives on in his music ..

I went to The Greens Playhouse then Apollo many many times from '71 on and although I seen lots of iconic bands there were many I didn't and I ask myself now .....Why ?
And no, I was somewhere else on the 19th of October 1973 .......... :'(
