Sassas. Your talking yourself into a job here
-
name the day, bring bearings. :y
-
Have to wait until my op on Tuesday but I'll take you up on that. How long does it take?
-
couple of hours one side( including a nap)three hours both sides.the majority of the time is spent finding the kit!!!
-
Right I'll get some bearings and give you a shout once I'm off the crutches. :y
-
Having done one without the correct kit to hand and "Making do" with other things it was a PITA but I can see that with the right kit it would be easy enough :y

He's not joking !!! When he very kindly did mine - which was a wonder to behold - and 40 minutes from start to finish ... at least 10 minutes was spent looking for a "special little bag of bits" .. then another 5 minutes trying to work out how those "special bits" were assembled ......
The "custom bearing puller" is to be seen to be believed .. :)

It wasn't the bearing that caused me problems, as it came out easily. I struggled removing the hub until I cobbled up an extractor out of scrap.
Like a lot of Omega jobs, it's the design that makes the job far more complex than it needed to be. For instance, why is the hub nut on the inside, thus making undoing pretty awkward.

probably because the people that designed them never have to work on them :(
