How about this for a shopping list .... although i may do it in two stages in an attempt to build rapport with my local parts dept and see if i can blag some discounts on the non tc parts.

 V6 Vectra radiator (on tc)
 V6 Vectra oil cooler/kit
 climate control bulbs for MV6
Alloy wheel centre caps for facelift mv6 alloys
 xxx litres of red coolant
20 litres of semi syn ( 4 for 3 tc offer)
 header tank for vectra v6
as many coolant pipes/rad pipes for Vectra V6 as they can get!
Head Gasket Kit for V6 Vectra

thats gonna set me back oooooh £300.

Anyone had any success in getting a "trade price/cash price" for non tc parts ?
-
oh and i have all my part numbers apart from the climate control bulbs  - sure they were on here but searched and can find.... :(

-
I usually get trade price on non TC parts...

-
Depends on your dealer......buying that amount of stuff i would think the dealer would give you trade price on non TC bits

-
climate control bulbs are p/n 9120630, change all 5.

well that's not too bad then, thought the info had come too late when I saw the date you started the thread!

the bulbs are 1.2 watts, should have a black base.

Make sure you get the right oil cooler kit......will look for the part number later but, its about 70-80+Vat for the cooler, plate, nuts and seals as a set, they may try to sell you the bits seperately

Plus, try elsewhere for the headgasket kit, Vaux are a bit pricey, the gasket shop (on ebay) for example sell a reasonable kit which has OEM gaskets in it (get vaux exhaust manifold gaskets).

 update....

can someone assist in confirming the correct part number for oil cooler?

"oil cooler " i say for y26se 2.6 sri v6 2002 last of old shape - they say " radiator - engine oil retail £226 plus vat circa £260 part number they have quoted is 90412391  ::) i have a print out in front of me now.... >:(

Not wanting to demolish my new relationship i have said id get back to them and thinking that they maybe dont know what there doing i am leaving the other major parts till i get this sorted - like radiator.

got the oil and stuff -cracking price for 20 litres.

Oh and they want £56 per gasket kit - so as mark said its ebay for them  :y

they dont have radiator in stock !
-
DAM so taken with the crazy oil cooler stuff i forgot my bulbs  >:(

-
I can post the part number tonight......

 would be excllent  :y

-
				Right, the part number is:

 93176626 - Radiator-Engine oil - £81 Retail+VAT (less trade price)

Now the first thing they will say is 'its not on the system' as it often does not come up on EPC, its actualy a TIS sourced number and can easily be found if they log into the Vx system. As such if is likely to be a next day delivery item.

Ow yes, you will also need:

4 off 11076852 - Oil pipe banjo to cooler metal washers.
4 off 12992647 - Seal rings (for coolant bridge)

Plus the grey coolant plate sealent (cant find the number for this), it comes in a small tube that goes into a sealent gun.
-
Mark - as always your a star  :y God knows what there trying to sell me  :o

Note to all Marks DTM again doing the job of vauxhall !!

Will return to them on Saturday ( at work all week now) and just ask for the part numbers above
