I won't mention how much the weather station that's just been bought for me at work cost (nor how much my time to make it managed over SNMP instead of the manufacturer's dodgy serial protocol cost).  ;D

When you ordered it, were you made aware that it might take more than 28 days to be delivered?

If not, I would take it up with trading standards as they are not complying with mail order regulations, where an item should be delivered within 28 days, unless they forewarn you it might take longer.

If we ever get them they'll most probably be shit and after all this waiting that would be one hell of a kick in the teeth...  :-\

Why they took the money when they did a long time after we placed the orders, naturally you'd think their not far off from being delivered, bloody scumbags  >:(  ;D

We were given, i think, 2 opportunities to cancel the order, by email, they eventually took the money from our bank accounts on the 4/5th june......so im guessing they 28 days from then to deliver....which makes the beginning of july......we shall see....

Mine has developed a fault, The outdoor sensor's red light is constantly on, It doesn't blink now and then like it should, The main indoor unit doesn't pick up the outdoor sensor signal. Nothing to do with batteries.  :-\

Buy cheap buy twice comes to mind  ;D ... Oh well was good while it lasted.

Looks like the damp wet weather finished it off on my unit. Then again I'm pretty sure it is an outdoor sensor  ??? ;D :-\

I seem to recall at the time that the battery compartment didnt look all that waterproof to me.
Hence why I screwed mine to facia board directly underneath the guttering (easy to do with a 1 storey extension out the back)

Would be interesting to see if it was water damage inside it......doesnt work now so if you dont feel like using a screwdriver to take it apart a hammer will suffice  ;D

Aye will try and open it and put the hair dryer on it if everything looks ok. At some point.

Yeah it doesn't look like it has good waterproofing.. I've got a £40 type in the bedroom bought 2 years ago, Still going strong Oregon or something the brand on that one.
