Hi. I have recently bought an omega Cdx estate.
It had the low beam fld vision warning on the dash so I thought it must be sensor needs re attaching.
So I had the front wheel off earlier today with the hope of easily locating and attaching said seņor.
Unfortunately for me the car has had 2 new wishbones fitted recently
But there is no sensor or bracket. Thers a wire hanging down towards the wishbone but noting for it to plug into.
I'm asking has anyone of you got a spare sensor and bracket at all.
This would be a great help if you have

You do know the sensor is fitted to the subframe with just the rod bolting to the wishbone via a little L bracket. You better check just in front of the rear wheel on the nearside to make sure the rear sensor hasnt been removed as well.

And secondly
I have no idea how the sensor is fitted on the front.
Iv been looking through here trying to find a couple of photos or something to explain where it attaches.
The rear one is still there though. Iv had to tie wrap it together but it's still there.

If the ball keeps coming out of the socket, wrap about four turns of plumbers PTFE tate around it. I did this to mine and it has stayed in for over a year now. front bracket fixes to the lower arm with a 10mm head self tapping bolt IIRC.
