Title: Heater pipes

Are there any tricks to removing these bl**dy things, James V6cdx did it fairly easily, but try as I can they will not shift, pulled back twisted swore grunted all to no avail.  Would ask james again but he seems to be busy at moment, so helpppppppp

I had same trouble
Theres a how to with pics
Seem to remember you need the green ring sliding back or forward
It is I think a locking device

Yeh done all that as per the guide and what james explained but they do not want to move, does it help if the system is warm first?

Once you've pulled the collar back, they usually need a good twist to break the "seal" from not having moved for years.

They usualy come away suddenly so wear work gloves so you don't whack your hand off the block!

Yes I have read the guide and know how to remove, they were last off less than a month ago, but need removing again, as I said james did so easy, but me even though doing all said in guide am struggling
