Title: Test drive music liked the download buying the CD
Post by: Martin_1962 on 10 May 2008, 20:30:37
Well I want to know what the opinions are.

Saw Def Leppard on TV a couple of days ago, new album.

No idea though if they still have it, so I downloaded the album from a popular torrent site.

Listening to it right now, so guess what I am buying now?

Yes the CD, it is good and I want it. They still have it :y

However it is no Pyromania - one of the best LPs/CDs I have!

BTW I am buying it even though the downloads are good (FLAC) because I like the music and I want Def Leppard to continue making it.

So do not have a go at downloaders as a lot use it as a test drive.

And if anyone from BPI comes round I'll hit them over the head with my Def Lep. CD collection. ;D

So so always thought they were a bit weak compared to the likes of Maiden or the mighty Motorhead tbh.

Very variable, I thought Motorhead were OK, Iron Maiden were pretty good, liked Saxon a lot.

Do not like thrash metal.

Mind you I like UFO, Scorpions, Deep Purple ect

LOL once told a mate that Venom sounded like the council digging the road up, he didn't seem amused.

Sounds like my tastes are quite similar to your own but Def Lep always seemed to be missing something, a bit more show than substance if you see what I mean.

Why I can highly recommend the new LK service area opened up just off the A500. Coffee's good and the prices very reasonable even if the waiter looks a bit suspect. ;D
Called there the other day on me way back from Leamington to find Elite Pete already sampling the wares availible.
