Title: Annoying creaking noise

I have this annoying creaking noise when I turn the steering wheel slightly from side to side and its been driving me mad I have checked all the usual culprits to no avail, anyway today I was determined to track it down and after a while I found out what it was anyone care to hazard a guess as to the cause :y

nope. new bottom arms an drop links couple of weeks old and was there before I changed them, that was my first thoughts as well :y

Dry bearings in the strut tops? Mine had a dreadful creak from the passenger side
Stripping and regreasing isn't difficult, but does require removing the struts which buggers up the alignment.

checked those to again not the fault when I tell you, you wont believe it :y

it was the rear gearbox mounting swapped it for another one and no more annoying creaking :y
