....to say the least.
This time last Friday I was looking forward to the bank holiday weekend [smiley=beer.gif]
Saturday evening I decided to be "peacemaker" in an impending fight (something I have vowed not to do again) & ended getting caught “in the crossfire”. After taking a few unexpected good blows I decided enough was enough!…. ::)
So I ended up spending Sun & Mon nursing my aches & pains.
I struggled through work & then at 4 o’clock on Weds I went to see my doctor who sent me A&E who admitted me straight away & at 10.30PM I had an abscess removed under general anaesthetic. I now have an hole ½ the size of a golf ball in my chest :o
Get up today expecting a day sat in the garden & it’s raining :(
At least the forecast is better & I’ll get a week or so of work :)
I'm going for a lie down....

Sounds nasty, mate. >:(
Take it easy and I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Bad luck on the weather too. It's been glorious all day here. I hope it stays that way this afternoon or I'll get soaked on my commute home. ::)

As said, take it easy. Is there a conection between the two or did the abscess get noticed by accident, cos you were there. :)

I'm sure i speak for us all in saying our thoughts & sympathies are with you. You're a good natured bloke & should steer clear of trouble.
Look forward to meeting up for another chat.
You take care mate, Guy. :y

oh dear - good luck and get well soon

When your doctor suggested exercise and fitness, I'm not sure this is what he had in mind.... ....get a Wii instead, hurts less ;D
Seriously, hope the pains subside soon :y

That's not good Paul, anyway get well soon, doubt you'll not be able to drink though (on antibiotics?)...Oh and always better to leave them to it...been there done that :(
