Title: Wheel size issues

Hi there
just wondered if anyone could help
ive just been given a brand new set of sp4 sport dunlops 255 40 17s
need to know if anyone knows if there are any second hand rims atleast an 8j that might fit my miggy

They aren't too different to the standard Omega 235/45/17s, but you're going to struggle to get them in the front arches. 245s fit with stock suspension, but if the car is lowered they rub :-\ the only question being where they rub, depending on the offset...

fronts will rub.. handling wont be nice to say the least..

thanks for replying

Gave up with the sp4s

found some nice 16's that will sit on the standard rims

Evergreens............never heard of them but they came highly recommended
Got to say for £75 each they are a great allrounder

Hope you get on ok with them - the only comment I have had, from a BMW user, is that after 2K miles there is a total loss of stability at speed, and he junked 'em as dangerous.  Function of soft sidewalls.  Watch those ditches ;)

For 75 each you can have a nice pair of Runway Enduros brand new, fitted, and the correct size. They are absolutely fine on an Omega. A little more road noise than some tyres would be my only complaint.

Agreed - just had two fitted to the Estate @£68 incl VAT, fitted all in :y

225/45-17 front tires on 8,5" steinmetz st1 et25 rims rubs a little when the car is lowered 40mm
235/45-17 rear tirees on 8,5" steinmetz st1 et 25 rims fits perbreakt on the car when lowered 40mm


looks wery nice though
