Well Cameron is right, the people on the Island want to be British. They keep asking for talks because they know they cannot take them by force.

prehaps the 'pope' should sort out the church first as i could imagine sorting that shower would open up a whole can of worms

Errrr...why are we jumping on the pope? It's that  ugly old cow Kerchner that's stirring it up, as usual. Popey may tell her to get stuffed, but not with any more botox or collagen.  ;D

Look she is a trout and only has one string to her bow but what else can she do? Apparently reclaiming the Islands is written in to their constitution. If she's not seen to keep banging on about it the people may well start to question more important things. As for the church getting involved with us Brits, didn't they try that several hundred years ago? She's not gonna go away, we're not gonna change our stance and this argument will still be going on when my grand kids are old.
