Hey all. My ex has an old r reg 2.0 gls omega estate.. Now every now and again when come to a stop it will just stall. It will re start every time and sometimes can go for couple of days without doing it. But now it's seemed to be getting worse. She's had cam and crank sensors done but still does it. >:(. I'm sure in the past someone said it was a fault in that year as the vectras was doing the same. Any ideas please ta :y

IACV and breather jet clean will likely sort it: http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90586.0

I agree completely with the above post. My X20XEV did the same thing after being used for a week on the motorways. The mayo from where the previous owner had only run it around properlhad dislodged and made its way into the ISCV and throttle body.
Changed and cleaned as per the guide and it was fine afterwards.

Hi, I have had an R reg 2 litre estate for seven years. It stalled occasionally too. I changed AICV, cleared the small breather hole, no cure. Eventually it began to misfire under load, so I changed the plugs - no cure - then the plug leads - still no cure - then the coil pack. That cured the misfire, and it has not stalled since, in eighteen months.
Good luck.
