whats the difference between a cdx and elite

Elite is a quality, luxury automobile, usually with the regulation 2 pedals, and many toys to enhance the travelling experience.

CDX is a car with 3 pedals.

If folks go to the "parkers site" they can read everything about all models .. :)

Saloon : http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=985

Estate :http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?model=984

just click "more Info" then "Equipment & Options" on each model .. :)

Not bad that! Most of the sites i've seen miss out or incorrectly state about 50% of the info.

My CDX has the regulation 2 pedal set up

I have had both and to be honest there is very little between them in spec,
Bose, Rear blind, self dipping rear mirror, self levelling suspension, 17'' wheels and possibly leather with memory and heated rear seats (all of this is on a facelift)

The CDX comes with a CCR2006 setup wich as standard isn't bad, and a lot of the toys can be retro fitted if required.

What does the SN stand for on the 3.0 Elite on the Parkers guide?

Let me throw this into the equation.

Rockabelly's CDX has had almost every option box ticked.

95M 2.5 CD Auto

Climate
Leather (fully electric)
Rear Blind
Auto dipping rear view mirror.
Painted side skirts and front and rear valances.

Weird eh?

All this with 11 months mot, 3 months tax, 66k with 2 owners and full history. Mint! Well was!

£600

Lucky sod!

Having had a (facelift) CDX for nearly seven years, I would say that if you have a family or take passengers, those rear heated seats on the Elite would come in nicely....  ;)
