Title: Spark plug boot
Post by: amba on 20 March 2013, 16:58:57
Is it possible to remove the boot on a plug lead and replace ?

The rubber "lip" on the plug end of #6 lead has badly split around the bottom and I am thinking this could be the source of a slight miss so wondered if you can just remove and renew that part.

On the case  then   :y

Just curious as to how much damage the end of the rubber boot must have before it causes a miss as been chasing this around for ages and think this must be the cause. >:(
