Title: Wise old granny

A granny in Paphos on the recommendation of her economist son, every Friday went to her local bank and withdrew all her savings and on a Monday she would put them back again.

When a member of the bank staff inquired why she did this, she said to keep her savings safe as banks only fail at weekends when they are shut. The staff found it very funny with her Friday and Monday visits. But guess who is now having the last laugh, with her savings safely stashed at home.  :y ;D ;D ;D

Actually it was her son that was wise.....  ;)  Perhaps he should have been running the Cypriot economy...  :-\

Unless he was and gave his old Mum a bit of insider information!   ;D
