i know this is the wrong place but have not made enought post to place a ad in the wanted section so sorry please fill free to move or lock or remove if inapropriate. What im looking for is a starter motor for a 2003 2.2 diesel as cheep as pos please as this will be number 5 as it just seems to eat them and im sure it wont last long thanks all

I think you should get the looked at bud my DTi has had the same one for the last 85k and still turns over without fail, maybe a bad earthing wire causing it to short out

thanks sam last two times it was checked over by a garage i have used a fair bit and cant find any fault so going to have a look myself this time but need a replacement anyway as the one in there is now on its last legs
