Just realised me and SWMBO were due upgrades 3 months ago. I have no desire for a crapple phone in my life but would like something decent and she likes the galaxy ace for some reason, currently paying £25 a month for each of our phones and only need about 300 mins, 150 texts and 250 data each.
Just wondering if anyone can reccomend a decent handset or maybe come across a ridiculously good deal lately, google gave me a headache within 2 minutes!

I and others I know have ended up with EE 4g smart phones (take your pick) on 4g network for £31 a month unlimited minutes and texts and 1gb data.

I tend to think along the lines that if a deal looks ridiculously good, then there is always a catch.
But at £25 pm. and if you're able to commit to a 24 month contract, there should be companies waiting to snatch your hands off. Last time I renewed in Spring 2011 O2 gave me a remarkable deal, free iPhone and HTC Desires. :y
My contract is up soon, so I'm starting to think about this myself. ::)

WHY? Save money don't use one, I don't, they really aren't that important. :y
To be honest I have a mobile somewhere, only ever take it out when traveling, for emergency use only. I really don't see the point unless it is for business. There is nothing worse than being in a pub, restaurant, or other public place when these bloody things ring at mega decibels and some moron shouts to the caller, about compete irrelevant crap. >:( >:(
Should be banned ::)

If your not bothered about an upgrade ask your Provider for some Airtime discount and some freebies for another 12 month sign up. I was doing this a few years now with Vodafone Business and got maxed out on discount of 67% of there Tariffs.
Im currently 600 Mobile mins, Unlimited Landline mins, Unlimited Text, 1g Data, Some free WiFi, Free Nav and Data for £12pm on a 12 Month Contract.
I would also wait towards the end of this year before signing any 18 / 24 month deal with anyone as Vodafone and O2 will be launching there rival 4G service and things should start getting a bit more competitive.

Me too. Made a significant dent in my data allowance (over 200Mb), and only been tethering for this evening. Opps!

My contract is due soon too and once I've sussed out how and where to unlock the iPhone, I'll probably go down the Giff Gaff route :y
