As i type i am watching spike milligan on tv and laughing my head off, but my other half is sitting here looking compleatly baffled at him and wondering why i am laughing. Am i the only one who thinks that this bloke was so funny and ahead of his time.?? ;D

With Genius like him and Tommy Cooper and the like you get that. .. I would cry of laughter at Tommy but Mrs would never break a smile.  ;D

Genius describes him to a tee and as well as tommy cooper there are no comedians to get near to being good enough to tie his boots. :y

I have read all thebooks regarding his war service and can recommend them to all but i warn you now do not read in public areas as you will break out in uncontrolable laughter and will get strange looks ;D

The "Q" series by Milligan was a riot. Some of the most bizarre sketches ever, often even more wacky than Monty Python   :y

Doesn't seem to be much of Q around. There's a rumour that he pissed off someone at the Beeb so much that it got deleted.
