Title: Just how many vicious dogs do people actually need.

I don't know, and frankly don't want to know the details BUT just how many dogs do people need to actually own? Especially dangerous dogs.

The sooner they have to be micro chipped and pay handsomely for a licence the better.

Just what do people expect when 4 or 5 or more pack animals are together and a non familar animal is introduced to the pack. Makes my blood boil.

Thats sickening . Strangely they dont mention what kind of dog breed they were  :-\

Have just seen this on the tv, tiny garden no real dog owner/lover would have 4 dogs in a house this size.I have owned bull breed dogs for the last 30 years,  as someone has already said it is not the dogs fault it is the owners who see them as some kind of status symbol.It would not suprise me one bit if the owner of these dogs in question is linked to drugs & had them to deter or hamper any rapid entry that could occur.The tv reporter said that the girl had gone into the house to eat her lunch & if these dogs had not been cared for ie fed regularly they may well have attacked the poor girl for her food.

Chipping won't help, just penalise responsible owners.  If people keep vicious dogs they won't bother to get them chipped anyway.

+1  Terribly sad, both Miss Vamps and I commented when seeing it on the new's, the dogs have been shot, perhaps the owner should have been too.

you don't get bad dogs you do get bad owners regardless of the breed any dog has the potential to attack...if it is shown how too

The owner probably won't give a toss about the girl or the dogs, only concern he or she may have is how to shift the blame .
