Title: 6 cyl BMW td engine maual box and clutch For sale. £350

It's about time I made some effort to sell my engine and gearbox from my old td estate.

The engine ran well before I crashed it 18 months ago, then due to a cable short I removed the battery and the car has sat ever since. I'm just waiting for my battery to charge then I'm off out to make sure it still runs as it should.

The engine has done circa 180k, but that said, there's a whole folder of history to suggest an oil change every 10k, then every 5k since my ownership.

The gearbox works as it should, the clutch was also replaced probably what, within the last 10k miles so has good life left. Slave and all.

The engine is currently still in the car, so will need removal on collection, but that said, removal should be relatively easy.. Feel free to hack the front off with an angle grinder and cut all cables with cutters to make it quick and easy..

I'm after £350 which will take the engine, everything attached to it ie starter motor, alternator, pumps, manifolds, turbo, exhaust if needed, gearbox and clutch.

Located on the fenland border 8 miles from Huntingdon, Cambs

To add, I've just had it turn over and fire into life!! It ran rough, then strayed to come clean, then died, managed to coax it into life again, it started to run clean again after about ten seconds, then cut out as if it had emptied the fuel filter of fuel, then I had to put the battery back on charge. Also my viscous fan is broken so is clanking now and again on the housing but considering its been sat so long, it fired up a treat.  :y

Yeah it's a pre facelift lol!

And to add, I went back out there yesterday to try again to start it and she purrrs like a good'un! And then I switched it off as my coolant evacuated from the rad ages ago lol
