I didn't bother with the test. Having owned an Elite Omega I thought I was either in the top class or possibly a Precariat.!
What a load of tosh. I would add an eight class for Mick Philpott, Maiariad and the mate.
Take the test here....................

I did yesterday. I think I got marked down (err, up) for visiting some country houses and museums. My Cultural section was clearly in the Toff class... ...if only I'd admitted I'd been to an opera before, I suspect I'd be in the cultural class of Royalty ;D
Its a load of 'dangle berries'

on the basis I need to go out & work to pay my mortgage etc ..... I still consider myself to be working class :y :y

i'm with Albs, there isn't a class system any more.
there used to be manual jobs made you working class, middle class were bank managers and anything above that was upper class.
but look at those guys that are rolling in it from doing jobs like being plumbers, mechanics, electricians etc. theyre on a par if not more wealthy than the bank managers.
the richest guy I know (absolutely loaded) is from working class back ground, saved up from lorry driving, bought a business selling car parts, then sold it for a fortune and retired at 40. but you wouldn't know it if you just met him. top ''geezer'' :y :y :y

A bloke on the 'shop floor' when I worked at Hall's cough sweets (before Cadbury closed it) used to drive to work & back in a Rolls Royce. He was in his early 50s & still lived with his Mum in her council house ...... (is that a possible link with the 'Benefits thread? ??? ;))
Plenty of other Mercs, Audis, Jags, Lexus/Lexi etc etc on our car park ;) ;) ;) There's also plenty of sheds on it too. ;)

I wonder who designed that heap of rubbish !!
Apparently because I have a pension, own my own house, have some shares and some savings, added to the fact that I have a wide range of friends due to the regular caravan rallies I attend, and we we go to different parts of the country we visit National Trust sites/museums etc ... I'm a member of the "Elite" !!
now I know I DRIVE an Elite ... but ... :(
