If anyone is going from up this area and want to car pool PM me - 2 empty seat's
Also if you are there Sunday and fancy an "eyeball" let me know

We went last year - birthday pressie from daughter - It was a really good day out, load's of "gadge", but Joe (mini me) missed out. Only complaint would be the queue's to try things out.
Xmas pressie from her this year, including him. Gives swmbo a day off.

Never been. But the Ch4 show puts me off wanting to go. What a pile of tosh that program is. Just shows, retards can get jobs ;)

I didn't know about this. I'm heading that way on Sunday for a work thing in Merseyside on Monday. May try to go for a few hours :y

Must admit dont like the new format with just 2 of them on a trip.
NEC thing is not what you'd expect. It's basically a big exhibition with stalls and stalls of all sorts of gadgets. It's on the back of the Gadget show and there is a "live" stage show during the day, which we are seeing this year as that's what mini me want's.
Have a look Here (http://www.gadgetshowlive.net/birmingham/page.cfm/link=1)

not sure how much the parking at the venue is but you can also park at birmingham international rail station - should be £5 for the day.
the queue is a lot shorter and it might be cheaper. just a short walk to the NEC from there

It's £10 at the NEC so that is a good suggestion, will look at that. Thanks :y
