including a BMW S30, Ford Focus and Vauxhall Astra.
BMW S30? No wonder it cost so much - They have a one-off Vehicle.
Nice reporting! >:(

if everyone who put wrong fuel in was put on a yearly chart-it would be thousands-but press would'nt want to know as it isnt a blame police/nhs/government thing

OP - time to bang a different drum for a while? Getting bored with this tune..... :)

This is dull. A poor attempt an sensationalism.
Its called making a mistake, like everyone else does. Unless you think police officers have an extra organ that helps them prevent mis-fuelling.

I agree :y
However when filling i always wait for the pump to turn off all the other prices of fuel it dispenses...so making sure ive not picked up the premium diesel nozzle.....im not colour blind and can tell the difference between black and green nozzles....but even if i did put petrol in error....my local garage charges £100 for a tow and flush ( i suspect thats cheap ) and not summat i would want to pay for a silly mistake :y
