Title: Sorn in the West Midlands
Post by: Auto Addict on 13 May 2008, 07:10:08
Bloke Sorn his car, parked on his drive with 3" overlapping the pavement.

Car clamped, warning notice it would be crushed as it was on the public highway.

So he cut the car in half and told them to take the back end away!

True story on local news.

....after he cut the car in half the clamp was removed and the penalty notice voided.
Seems the over-zealous ANPR-van (contract) clampers didn`t enjoy the cold light of public scrutiny.

 >:(...."lazy-laws" and criminalising the honest yet again! >:(
