Title: engine management light

hi driving home from work this light came on and car would not accelerate  only struggled up to 30 mph .afew minetes later it went off and car drove normally again.car is a 52 plate 2.2dti. any ideas please has it got to go on a computor to check fault .

at a guess its the crankshaft sensor on its way out,but i could be wrong :y

Needs to go on a code reader,no self diagnostics on that engine  :-\

I'd guess a P11xx code for "critical failure" (rarely as critical as code suggests). But you need to get the codes first.

hi just had code read on fault with management light on and reads as p0190 high pressure diagnosis leakage/ po725rpm sensor incorrect signal/p1335 sensor signal.any ideas folks sounds expensive thanks for any info cheers  geoff
