Saw the new Cruise/Freeman film Oblivion. I really enjoyed it.
Nice effects, interesting plot with "homage"to many other films. Also some attractive females to look at too.
If you can venture up to Sunny Lincolnshire - then "the" place to see films is the "Kinema in the Woods" at Woodhall Spa. They have an intermission with a chap playing a theatre organ who comes up out of the stage.

Went to see Skyfall with someone like that. Kept having to wake her up because her snoring was louder than the dialogue :-[

We don't go to the flicks that much, saw The Kings Speech and True Grit at the Broadway in Nottingham. This is a nice cinema, don't get Reggie Dixon but they have a great restaurant and cafe, plus the bar sells Peroni and you can drink while watching the film :y :y :y
Looks like Oblivion next :y

Oh dear. I love watching a film on the Big Screen BUT I just hate going to the cinema. I'm one of those people who get annoyed by almost everyone else in the theatre ;D

Glad it is not only me that finds films in the cinema ruined by popcorn and sweet munchers.

Me too. It always amazes me how much mess people can leave in such a short time - when the lights go up the place is like a pigsty >:(
