Hi all 2003 Omega 2.2 cdx Auto love the car, had a few little problems when got the car but she runns like a dream now. I do have one little niggle now though, I dont have a boot release in the car just on the key FOB so if i want to open the boot i need to stop the car and take key out of the ignition and press the button is this right as it is very anoying, I do have a buttom in the car with a light to show the boot is open but it does not feel like a button if you press it there is no positive click or resistance to it. any advivce would be great.
And yes it is a Silver one .
Thanks guys
David

Welcome to the site David. I grew up in Aylesbury :)
I dont have a boot release in the car just on the key FOB
What is bottom right button on centre console, just above astray? As yours is a 2003 car, you need to press and hold this for about 3s... ...note also, it doesn't work if the doors are locked.

Hi and thanks for all the replies and advice on the boot button. over the weekend i checked out you answers and think i need a new button. i sat in the car doors unlocked hand break on and car in park engine running and pressed the button for up to 20 seconds at one point and nothing. went to tesco to weelky shop done the same but this time with engine off and nothing. is there a fuse for circuit i am over looking as check the normal places like under the dash and in the engine bay?.
And thanks again for the advice.
P.S i am thinking about poping along to the High Wycome meet as well hope to see some of you there !
