bit of a update  just took off the plenum and found the possible problem  a friend who was helping finished putting the plenum on as i had to pop out so when i got back all was done now the plum looks like he didnt remove the tissue blocking the 6 holes in the injector part and just fitted the plenum when i looked down the ports with a torch i can see some tissue at the bottom so next question is how the bloody hell can i get it out is it still possible to get it out or is it tottally buggered i am resisting the urge to knock him out but depending on the answers that may be short lived >:(

Post deleted because I didn't read the thread properly  ::) :-[

As said, wire coat hanger OR if you can get your hands on a piece of thin tube, tape it to the end of a vacuum cleaner and see if you can suck it out  ;)

If you can see the tissue try and bend a bit of wire into a hook and go fish it out, worth a try ::)

Just a thought:  When I first did a cam cover gasket change I managed to trap the wire (forget what it is for now!!) at the front of the right hand, passenger side, bank which resulted in terrible idling.

After getting advice I lifted the offending cam cover and released the said wire.  All was then perfect. ;) ;)

Obviously I missed the "tissue" post, so let's hope that is the answer! :D :D :D :y

Was it just tissue paper? If so probably all mangled and eaten by the valves, should in thoery burn of after a while, pop the spark plugs out and see if any gets blown out.
