Title: Ebay question
Post by: Johnny English on 21 April 2013, 11:55:52
"May not post to Hungary" is the note I can see on the site more than often. Do anybody know the reason of it, guys? Might be Hun buyers with bad reputation...?  :-\

I think it is more likely to be laziness. Too much trouble involved in saying you will post worldwide.

For example post cost to Hungary would be different to cost of posting to say the USA or Brazil.

I also think that there is a suspicion that if the deal goes wrong it is harder to sort things out. Not really true if you use Paypal.

Personally I look at the traders feedback record as a first stop when dealing with other sellers. If you have a 100% feedback and a fair few buys/sells under your belt , you can sometimes get a seller interested in quoting a price for postage (to Hungary in your case) by messaging them.

We sell a few things via Spanish EBay and generally offer free post to Europe even though inside Spain costs 4 euros and outside Spain costs 8.75 cents.
