My 2.6 has had new plugs and a pair of known good coil packs fitted but is still running like shit, codes for misfire on cylinders 1+2 and p0300 :'(
Any suggestions people????

Anyone????
ECU..Injectors..??
-
Have you checked and cleaned coil pack connectors just thinking rule out something silly
-
Start with the basics
- cambelt cover off & check that the cam timing is OK
- spark plugs out & do a compression test
-
I did notice the fuel pressure wasn't too good when doing the cam covers, with it being the front two cylinders i.e furthest away from the pump???. I have a spare filter so will throw that on in the morning just for the hell of it. Advice taken on board anyhow :y

I need to add code p1300 to the mix, Empty fuel receptacle????? it has petrol in !!
-
is your fuel pump working ok? :y
-
I reckon the seals on injectors are shot-I had that on my 2.5 on number 5 iirc and that through up misfire + misfire code ???

SORTED.....new fuel filter helped, replacement bellow on the bagpipe helped more as it was split, then I spotted an open vac pipe from the lower vac reservoir so plugged this and it is firing on all six!!
looks like the hbv is leaking but thats easily sorted!
