I came accross this interesting video, All I'd like to know is it that simple ??? i'd be worried about using wet and dry in a visible area like the bonnet, bumper etc.. Incase it doesn't buff out ;D and where can I buy that kit :D

IMHA ide try the old t cut and a good polish first maybe with a little clear lacor brushed in to the scratch

Thought as much it looks like an old video, There must be a cheaper kit than the one's on eBay ? :-\

agreed .. :y with one exception.. if your clear coat is a bit resistant (like scratch resistant type) and if the application height a bit higher than the surface level when dried you must not sand it directly.. first cover the increased height area with some soft bondo say minimum 4x4 cms .. let it dry and than sand with 1500 or 200 using a bigger block size at least 5x10 cms... reason is when you apply even small pressure on the sand area the increased height will dent the metal surface..(I did this mistake several times)
ps: bondo thickness must be tiny (enough just to cover up) and dont cause you to spend too much time
