Short and sweet.. My Omega Duel Fuel more when it's warmed
Up, when you stop at the lights most of the time the revs can stick at 1500 if I give it a little rev it will most the time drop back to normal, it's not just on the idle as sometimes it can feel like a kind of cruise control for example driving at 30 put the clutch down and it's stuck at 1500 revs, I don't have this problem running on Petrol.

Air leak somewhere on the inlet side, is it a VX badged Duel Fuel on the back, Koltek from memory, lots of issues with them.
-
Just to add, if it is a VX from factory Duel Fuel, it will have a red / black button right side of gear change and the LPG Fuel Guage shares the same as the standard Petrol one.
-
clean throttle body :y :y

No air leak it has been checked - again no problem on petrol

Yer that's the one just as you described, I got told the other day I need new manifold gaskit but wouldn't of thought that would effect it should be ok.

Bin done and new TPS and new Idle control valve :)

air leak would raise revs especially on gas :y

So if I have an air leak why does it work ok on the fuel?
-
because it detects more air and put in more gas=higher revs

Call me dumb but I don't really know what you mean. I've sprayed carb cleaner all around engine bay and looked for loose or pipes that are off and nouthing so I can't quite see how it's an air leak and even if there was it would behave the same on petrol as it does on gas and it's fine on the petrol.

i must be dumb too,as a air leak would affect both lpg and petrol as far as i'm aware ???

on my mig I had a split in a vacuum pipe to vapouriser and when it went on gas it revs went up-but mine is zavolli-and a local lpg specialist sorted it for me-so only know what he told me-dont know if winding me up or not-as what I know about lpg is the square root of f*** all -

I wouldn't rule out an air leak just because it runs fine on petrol, Petrol Injected engines can be quiet forgiving when it come to leaks, not always the case with LPG.

apologies,i was not very clear,a split vacuum pipe controlling the lpg vapouriser or map sensor makes much more sense than a general inlet manifold leak.ie i don't think he was winding you up :y :)

Sure does make more sense just wish I know where the facking leak was then cause I've had a good look and no such luck lol I spoke to a bloke today who said something about a step up valve?
